Bước 1: Hiểu rõ yêu cầu đề bài

Đề bài yêu cầu chúng ta viết một đoạn văn ngắn về hoạt động giải trí yêu thích của mình. Các em cần trả lời lần lượt các câu hỏi sau:

• What do you enjoy doing in your leisure time? (Bạn thích làm gì trong thời gian rảnh rỗi?)
• What is your favourite leisure activity? (Hoạt động giải trí yêu thích nhất của bạn là gì?)
• Why do you enjoy doing it? (Tại sao bạn thích làm điều đó?)
• How did you start doing it at first? (Lần đầu tiên bạn bắt đầu làm hoạt động đó như thế nào?)
• How often do you practice it? (Bạn thực hành nó bao lâu một lần?)
• Who do you often practise it with? (Bạn thường thực hành nó với ai?)
• Do your Mum/ Dad/ friend(s) also like it? (Bố mẹ/ bạn bè của bạn có thích nó không?)
• What free-time activities would you like to try in the future? (Bạn muốn thử những hoạt động giải trí nào trong tương lai?)

Mục tiêu là tạo ra một đoạn văn mạch lạc, trả lời đầy đủ các ý trên và thể hiện được cá tính của bản thân.

Bước 2: Lựa chọn hoạt động giải trí yêu thích

Trước tiên, các em hãy nghĩ xem mình thực sự thích làm gì nhất khi có thời gian rảnh. Đó có thể là đọc sách, chơi thể thao, vẽ tranh, nghe nhạc, chơi game, làm vườn, đi du lịch… Hãy chọn một hoạt động mà các em có nhiều điều để nói nhất.

Ví dụ, cô chọn hoạt động là “đọc sách”.

Bước 3: Lên dàn ý trả lời từng câu hỏi

Bây giờ, chúng ta sẽ phác thảo câu trả lời cho từng câu hỏi trong đề bài.

• What do you enjoy doing in your leisure time? -> I enjoy reading books, listening to music and playing badminton.
• What is your favourite leisure activity? -> My favourite leisure activity is reading books.
• Why do you enjoy doing it? -> I enjoy reading because it helps me learn new things, relax my mind and expand my imagination.
• How did you start doing it at first? -> I started reading when I was a child, my mother often read me bedtime stories.
• How often do you practice it? -> I read books almost every day, especially in the evening.
• Who do you often practise it with? -> I usually read alone, but sometimes I discuss books with my friends.
• Do your Mum/ Dad/ friend(s) also like it? -> Yes, my Mum and some of my friends also love reading. My Dad prefers watching movies.
• What free-time activities would you like to try in the future? -> In the future, I would like to try learning to play the guitar and travel to new places.

Bước 4: Viết đoạn văn hoàn chỉnh

Dựa trên dàn ý đã chuẩn bị, chúng ta sẽ ghép các ý lại thành một đoạn văn mạch lạc. Cô sẽ viết mẫu cho các em dựa trên ví dụ “đọc sách”.

Bước 5: Kiểm tra và chỉnh sửa

Sau khi viết xong, các em hãy đọc lại đoạn văn của mình để kiểm tra:

• Ngữ pháp có chính xác không?
• Cách dùng từ có tự nhiên không?
• Đã trả lời đầy đủ các câu hỏi của đề bài chưa?
• Đoạn văn có mạch lạc, dễ hiểu không?
• Có lỗi chính tả nào không?

Đoạn văn nháp của cô đã khá tốt, cô sẽ chỉnh sửa một chút cho mượt mà hơn.

I enjoy reading for several reasons. Firstly, it’s an excellent way to gain new knowledge about different subjects and cultures. Secondly, it helps me to relax and unwind after a busy day of studying. Most importantly, books allow me to escape into different worlds and expand my imagination.
I first developed my passion for reading when I was a young child. My mother used to read me bedtime stories every night, which sparked my initial interest.
Nowadays, I try to read almost every day, usually dedicating time to it in the evening. I typically read by myself, but I also enjoy sharing book recommendations and discussing them with my friends.
Thankfully, my Mum and many of my friends share my love for reading, so we often exchange books and ideas. My Dad, however, has different interests and prefers watching movies.
