Write about what you are going to do this summer
Các con đừng lo lắng nhé, rất đơn giản thôi. Cô sẽ hướng dẫn các con từng bước một để có một bài viết thật hay.
Bước 1: Tìm hiểu cấu trúc ngữ pháp chính
Để nói về những việc mình sẽ làm hoặc dự định làm trong tương lai (cụ thể là mùa hè), chúng ta sẽ dùng cấu trúc quen thuộc trong chương trình lớp 5: “be going to”.
Công thức như sau:
Chủ ngữ + am / is / are + going to + động từ (nguyên thể).
Ví dụ nhé:
– I am going to visit my grandparents. (Tớ sẽ đi thăm ông bà.)
– We are going to go to the beach. (Chúng tớ sẽ đi biển.)
– He is going to learn to swim. (Cậu ấy sẽ học bơi.)
Bước 2: Lên ý tưởng cho bài viết (Brainstorming)
Bây giờ, các con hãy thử trả lời những câu hỏi gợi ý của cô để tìm ra ý tưởng cho mình nhé. Hãy nghĩ xem mùa hè này con muốn làm gì nhất.
– Where are you going to go? (Con sẽ đi đâu?)
Gợi ý: to Ha Long Bay, to Da Nang, to the countryside (về quê), to the beach (tới bãi biển), to the zoo (tới sở thú)…
– Who are you going to go with? (Con sẽ đi cùng với ai?)
Gợi ý: with my family (với gia đình), with my parents (với bố mẹ), with my friends (với bạn bè)…
– What are you going to do? (Con sẽ làm gì?)
Gợi ý: visit my grandparents (thăm ông bà), play football (chơi bóng đá), read books (đọc sách), learn to swim (học bơi), eat a lot of seafood (ăn nhiều hải sản), build sandcastles (xây lâu đài cát)…
Bước 3: Sắp xếp các ý tưởng thành một đoạn văn
Một bài viết hay cần có câu mở đầu, các câu phát triển ý và câu kết luận.
1. Câu mở đầu: Giới thiệu chung về kỳ nghỉ hè của con.
Ví dụ: This summer is coming. I have a lot of plans for my holiday. (Mùa hè đang đến rồi. Tớ có rất nhiều kế hoạch cho kỳ nghỉ của mình.)
2. Các câu thân bài: Dùng những ý tưởng ở Bước 2 và cấu trúc ở Bước 1 để viết thành các câu hoàn chỉnh. Con nên dùng các từ nối đơn giản như “First” (Đầu tiên), “Then” (Sau đó), “After that” (Sau đấy) để bài văn mạch lạc hơn.
Ví dụ:
– First, I am going to visit my grandparents in the countryside. (Đầu tiên, tớ sẽ về quê thăm ông bà.)
– Then, my family and I are going to go to Ha Long Bay. (Sau đó, gia đình tớ và tớ sẽ đi Vịnh Hạ Long.)
– We are going to swim in the sea and eat a lot of seafood. (Chúng tớ sẽ bơi ở biển và ăn thật nhiều hải sản.)
3. Câu kết bài: Nêu cảm xúc của con về kỳ nghỉ hè.
Ví dụ: I think it will be a wonderful summer. I am very excited. (Tớ nghĩ đó sẽ là một mùa hè tuyệt vời. Tớ đang rất háo hức.)
Bước 4: Viết bài hoàn chỉnh (Bài mẫu tham khảo)
Bây giờ, chúng ta hãy cùng nhau ghép các bước trên lại để có một bài viết hoàn chỉnh nhé. Dưới đây là một bài mẫu của cô, các con có thể dựa vào đây để viết bài của riêng mình.
Bài mẫu:
My summer holiday is coming soon and I am very happy. I have some interesting plans for this summer.
First, in June, I am going to visit my grandparents in the countryside. I am going to help them on the farm and play with my cousins. After that, in July, my family is going to go to Da Nang. We are going to swim in the sea and build sandcastles on the beach. My dad says we are going to eat a lot of delicious seafood there.
I think my summer holiday will be great. I am looking forward to it so much.

Summer vacations are the best time to relax and enjoy with family and friends, it’s the time I eagerly waited for every year. This year’s summer vacation is so special to me because it was the first time I’ve been on a trip with my colleagues. We had a wonderful time in Vung Tau – the city which has most beatiful beaches in Vietnam.
We stayed there for 2 days in a small hotel.The first day, we got up early to watch the sunrise on the beach. It’s the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen. Then we swam in the sand to see the sky. We also enjoyed delicious seafood and drank fresh coconuts.The next day, it took us about 30 minutes to walk up Little Mountain to visit the Lighthouse. The lighthouse has a beautiful panoramic view of Vung Tau and is a really interesting place. On the top of Little Mountain, there is a giant 28m high Jesus statue overlooking the East Sea. This is the largest sculpture in the South. The two shoulders of the photo are a balcony, each balcony can accommodate up to six people, offering a beautiful view of the surrounding landscape. The weather is very good and the locals are very friendly. We took a lot of photos to save our memorable vacation and buy lots of souvenirs. I have a lot of good memories during that trip. Everything is great, but what makes the trip so great is the fact that I can bond stronger with my colleagues.
Summer is considered as the favourite season in a year simply because most of students spend their spare time on travelling, playing and doing leisure activities. I also love summer much in my mind since my family always have many special vacations, and as simlilar as the previous one, we will have a vacation to Ha Long Bay in this summer. However, Corona pandemic has prevented our family from travelling; therefore, I have to spend my time in studying and playing with my parents. Espeically, I found online-studying suitable with me, and my father advised me to learn some foreign languages such as French, German, Japanese. Finally, I chose German, and it seems to be harder than English although I have had a great deal of English knowledge before. After I had chosen German, I also started learning some knowledge about financy and economy which will actually help me in the future. That sounds a humilating summer; nevertheless, I will play harder than studying with my cousin because I have found a myriad of overrating online games. I hope I will have an exciting summer with a lot of successful goals and happinesses.
