Để nói về các vấn đề giao thông, chúng ta sẽ thực hiện theo 3 bước: Lên ý tưởng, Xây dựng câu, và Viết đoạn văn hoàn chỉnh.
Bước 1: Lên ý tưởng (Brainstorming)
Đầu tiên, chúng ta hãy cùng nhau nghĩ xem, các vấn đề giao thông ở thành phố lớn tại Việt Nam là gì nhỉ? Cô sẽ liệt kê một vài ý tưởng bằng cả Tiếng Việt và Tiếng Anh nhé.
* Tắc đường, kẹt xe (đặc biệt vào giờ cao điểm): traffic jam / rush hour
* Đường phố đông đúc: crowded streets
* Có quá nhiều phương tiện (xe máy, ô tô): too many vehicles (motorbikes, cars)
* Ô nhiễm không khí và tiếng ồn: air pollution and noise pollution
* Tai nạn giao thông xảy ra thường xuyên: traffic accidents happen often
Bước 2: Xây dựng câu đơn giản (Building sentences)
Bây giờ, chúng ta sẽ dùng các từ vựng và cấu trúc câu đơn giản đã học ở lớp 7 để đặt câu cho mỗi ý tưởng trên.
* Để nói về “tắc đường”, ta có thể dùng cấu trúc “There is / There are”:
-> There are traffic jams during rush hour.
* Để miêu tả “đường phố đông đúc”, ta dùng động từ “to be”:
-> The streets are very crowded.
* Để nói về “quá nhiều phương tiện”, ta lại dùng “There are”:
-> There are too many vehicles on the streets.
* Để nói về hậu quả “ô nhiễm”, ta dùng thì hiện tại đơn:
-> The traffic causes air pollution and noise pollution.
Bước 3: Viết thành đoạn văn ngắn gọn (Writing the paragraph)
Cuối cùng, mình chỉ cần nối các câu trên lại, thêm một vài từ nối đơn giản như “First” (Đầu tiên), “because” (bởi vì), “also” (cũng) là có ngay một đoạn văn ngắn gọn và hoàn chỉnh rồi!

Currently in VietNam, the traffic situation is becoming more and more complicated in big cities, especially HCM city. The main problem are nots obeying traffic laws, not obeying road signals etc. Although besides those who always obey, there are many people who do not obey the law. Every year, the rate of deaths due to traffic accidents, especially in big cities, is very high. This situation will probably decrease in the future because there are currently many strict measures in place to make the traffic situation in big cities no longger as complicated as before.
