“Children should always follow their parents advice.”
To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?
Bước 1: Hiểu đề bài và lên dàn ý (Brainstorming and Outlining)
I. Introduction (Mở bài)
– Giới thiệu chủ đề.
– Nêu rõ quan điểm của mình (agree, disagree, or partially agree).
II. Body Paragraph 1 (Thân bài 1)
– Nêu lý do thứ nhất để ủng hộ hoặc phản bác quan điểm.
– Giải thích và đưa ra ví dụ.
III. Body Paragraph 2 (Thân bài 2)
– Nêu lý do thứ hai để ủng hộ hoặc phản bác quan điểm.
– Giải thích và đưa ra ví dụ.
IV.
* Lý do nên nghe lời khuyên cha mẹ:
* Ví dụ: “The relationship between parents and children is often characterized by guidance and advice.”
* Hoặc: “Guidance from parents plays a significant role in shaping a child’s life.”
* “While parental advice is undoubtedly valuable and often comes from a place of love and experience, I believe that children should not always follow it blindly, as developing independence and critical thinking is crucial for their growth.”
* “Firstly, parental advice is often invaluable due to parents’ life experience and deep care for their children.”
* Ví dụ: “For instance, when a teenager is choosing a career path, parents can offer insights based on their understanding of the child’s strengths and weaknesses, as well as the realities of different professions.”
* Hoặc: “Their guidance can help prevent costly mistakes, whether in academic pursuits or personal relationships.”
* Topic Sentence: Chuyển sang khía cạnh phản bác quan điểm “always”.
* “However, it is equally important for children to develop their own sense of judgment and independence, which means they cannot always follow parental advice without question.”
* (Tuy nhiên, điều quan trọng không kém là trẻ em cần phát triển khả năng phán đoán và sự độc lập của riêng mình, điều này có nghĩa là chúng không thể luôn luôn làm theo lời khuyên của cha mẹ mà không đặt câu hỏi.)
* Explanation & Example:
* Giải thích: Thế giới hiện đại thay đổi rất nhanh. Những gì cha mẹ từng trải qua có thể không còn phù hợp. Quan trọng hơn, trẻ em cần học cách tự suy nghĩ, phân tích và đưa ra quyết định cho cuộc đời mình. Việc luôn phụ thuộc vào lời khuyên của người khác sẽ cản trở sự trưởng thành và khả năng đối mặt với thử thách. Đôi khi, mong muốn của cha mẹ có thể không hoàn toàn trùng khớp với mong muốn và sở thích của con cái.
* Ví dụ: “For example, in the fast-evolving digital age, children might have a better grasp of new technologies or social trends than their parents. Blindly adhering to outdated advice could hinder their progress or lead them to miss out on valuable opportunities.”
* (Ví dụ, trong thời đại số đang phát triển nhanh chóng, trẻ em có thể nắm bắt tốt hơn về công nghệ mới hoặc xu hướng xã hội so với cha mẹ chúng. Việc tuân theo mù quáng lời khuyên lỗi thời có thể cản trở sự tiến bộ của chúng hoặc khiến chúng bỏ lỡ những cơ hội quý giá.)
* Hoặc: “Furthermore, children need to learn from their own experiences, including making mistakes, to build resilience and learn life lessons.”
* (Hơn nữa, trẻ em cần học hỏi từ chính những trải nghiệm của mình, bao gồm cả việc mắc sai lầm, để xây dựng khả năng phục hồi và học hỏi những bài học cuộc sống.)
* “In conclusion, while parental advice serves as a crucial compass guiding children through life’s complexities, the notion that it should always be followed is debatable.”
* Restate thesis in different words: Khẳng định lại quan điểm của em.
* “It is essential for children to consider and respect their parents’ guidance, but they must also cultivate the ability to think critically, make independent decisions, and learn from their own journeys.”
* Hoặc: “Ultimately, a healthy balance between respecting parental wisdom and fostering personal autonomy is key to a child’s well-rounded development.”
Bước 5: Rà soát và Chỉnh sửa (Review and Edit)

The relationship between parents and children is often characterized by guidance and advice. Parents, with their life experience and innate love, frequently offer their children direction on various matters. While parental advice is undoubtedly valuable and often comes from a place of love and experience, I believe that children should not always follow it blindly, as developing independence and critical thinking is crucial for their growth.
(Thân bài 1)
Firstly, parental advice is often invaluable due to parents’ life experience and deep care for their children. Having navigated life’s challenges for many years, parents can offer insights that help their children avoid potential pitfalls or make sound decisions. Their guidance is typically rooted in a desire to protect and support their offspring, understanding their strengths and weaknesses better than anyone else. For instance, when a teenager is choosing a career path, parents can offer insights based on their understanding of the child’s aptitudes and the realities of different professions. Their guidance can help prevent costly mistakes, whether in academic pursuits or personal relationships.
(Thân bài 2)
However, it is equally important for children to develop their own sense of judgment and independence, which means they cannot always follow parental advice without question. The world today is constantly evolving, and new technologies and social dynamics emerge rapidly. Children, particularly adolescents, might have a more up-to-date understanding of certain modern aspects than their parents. Blindly adhering to outdated advice could hinder their progress or lead them to miss out on valuable opportunities. Furthermore, children need to learn from their own experiences, including making mistakes, to build resilience and develop essential life skills for adulthood. Learning to make decisions and taking responsibility for them, even if they are not perfect, is a vital part of maturing.
(Kết bài)
In conclusion, while parental advice serves as a crucial compass guiding children through life’s complexities, the notion that it should always be followed is debatable. It is essential for children to consider and respect their parents’ guidance, but they must also cultivate the ability to think critically, make independent decisions, and learn from their own journeys. Ultimately, a healthy balance between respecting parental wisdom and fostering personal autonomy is key to a child’s well-rounded development.

Đề Bài :Write about the following topic : ” Children should always follow their parents advice. “
Bài làm
Parents play an importan role in children life. Some people said that “Children should obey their parent’s advice”. In my opinion, I agree with this statement, mom and dad is the best teacher. Sometimes, thay are talkative but their talk is true.
Firstly, parents are the closest friend with kids. Since one born, the early person one see is one’s mother, then is one’s fathẻ. So talking with them is more easily than others. If the kid in trouble, some will tell with their “closet friend” first. I usually tell them my problem and them teach my how to solve it.
In addiction, parents are having more experience in life than offsprings, cause their age not as young as a kid. People who taught children how to stand, walk, run and encouraged them to go to school, most is their mom and dad. For me, my parent cannot best in other people’s eye, but they are the best people to me. I set them as the example for my behaviour.
Last but not least, no one might love offsprings as much as their parent. One reaseon is that they born a kid. so they ought to reposible for one. The love of teacher is different from that, because they are paid for each lesson at school. At times, they can punish them or angry of their action, but it just one kind of love. My mother often unhappy when I come home late, or do some naughty thing.
In conclusion, parent’s completely have enought capacity to becom the best teacher for children, me, and for all people.
Absolutes are a dangerous thing. . .
The basic premise here is that based off of some Judeo-Christian tradition one should always “Honor thy Father and Mother”, Whereas in Eastern philosophies the idea is that one should “rather take 3 steps back than step on a master’s/teacher’s shadow”.
To be circumventivley blunt. . . The parent may well be right. . . . . Or they may be wrong.
The expression “if your friend jumped off a bridge would you too? ” comes to mind. Children after age three can speak and move well. At age 7 they can even read and hold simple arguments. By age 11-12 they can possibly emotional bait and out-wit you out of guilt. And by 15 they are sexually 75% of the way to being an adult but not yet mentally for the hyper-competitive world that is today with a necessary understanding of finance and purchasing skills over say farming practices a 120 years ago. . . In short kids need to know more about the world before they leave home if they want to survive in it. . . And this is why you don’t have Revolutionary War teenagers leaving the farm for good at 16 any more; or apprenticing and living under another’s roof at 13. . . . The truth is that a parent can not always make the right choice and it is not always theirs to make and so obeying a parent is not always the proper course of action, Being polite/honorable. . . . Yes. . . . But blind obedience is counterproductive to growth, Fear is inhibiting, True love is natural not forced, And respect is either freely given or earned in our inner thoughts despite the smile on our faces. . . . It is far better nad less Machiavellian to make children and young adults desire a parents respect and love and to wish to not displease them than fear them. . . For fear is unhealthy. . . But the parent must know that the child will eventually stop trying to please them if they find that state of being reasonably unattainable. . . At that point the child considers the parent “DEAD” and is only honoring the memory of when they more sane/humane/hospitable. . . . . If you have crazy expectations people will think you crazy. . . . . And then they will at best pity you and try remember you as once were. . . . . Not follow you into the breach. .
