If that’s the case, try rethinking some of your free time as a family. You can select just one or two projects a year and make them a family tradition. Chúng ta sẽ cùng nhau ‘giải mã’ một bài đọc hiểu rất ý nghĩa với chủ đề FAMILY VOLUNTEER DAY – Ngày Tình nguyện của Gia đình. Đây là một bài tập rất hay giúp các em vừa rèn luyện kỹ năng đọc hiểu tiếng Anh, vừa học hỏi thêm về những giá trị tốt đẹp trong cuộc sống.
Trước khi đi vào từng câu hỏi, cô muốn nhắc lại các bước cơ bản để làm tốt một bài đọc hiểu nhé:
I. HƯỚNG DẪN CÁCH LÀM BÀI ĐỌC HIỂU
1. Bước 1: Đọc lướt (Skimming): Đọc tiêu đề và lướt qua toàn bộ đoạn văn một lần để nắm được chủ đề chính, nội dung tổng quát của bài viết. Chúng ta thấy bài viết nói về lý do tại sao gia đình nên làm công việc tình nguyện và gợi ý một số hoạt động tình nguyện.
2. Bước 2: Đọc kỹ câu hỏi (Reading Questions Carefully): Đọc từng câu hỏi và gạch chân các từ khóa quan trọng (keywords). Việc này sẽ giúp các em định hướng được thông tin cần tìm.
3. Bước 3: Đọc lại đoạn văn và tìm thông tin (Scanning for Information): Dựa vào các từ khóa đã gạch chân ở câu hỏi, các em hãy ‘quét’ thật nhanh trong đoạn văn để tìm ra thông tin liên quan. Thông tin đó thường nằm xung quanh các từ khóa mà các em đã xác định.
4. Bước 4: Viết câu trả lời (Writing the Answer): Diễn đạt câu trả lời một cách rõ ràng, đầy đủ và đúng ngữ pháp dựa trên thông tin tìm được. Các em không cần phải chép nguyên văn cả câu, mà hãy tóm tắt hoặc điều chỉnh để câu trả lời tự nhiên và phù hợp.
